Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 364, reports as follows:
Bill No. 364, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 535-06 by Director of Finance
William Takaba, via Communication No. 1209, dated November 13, 2006, amends Ordinance
No. 06-79, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30, 2007. The amendment is as
follows:

3305.54 Sate Grants -Transportation for the General $80,000
Homeless & Disabled
Total $80,000
To:
010.481.5481.35 Transportation for the Homeless & General $80,000
Disabled
Total $80,000
These funds from the State of Hawaii Legislature enacted Act 100, Session Laws of Hawaii
2006 will be used to purchase two (2) minivans to provide transportation services to the elderly
homeless and disabled.
Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the
transportation for the homeless & disabled.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 364 and
recommends it pass first reading.
