Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate William F. Green of Hilo to the
Hawaii County Tax Board of Review, to replace Bill Thibadeau,
whose term will expire on December 31, 1997.
Mr. Green is a lifetime resident of Hawaii, and since 1991 has
been the Owner/President of PCI Chemical Corporation. Prior to
that, he was employed at Allied Machinery (1970-1990) and
Castle & Cook (1961-1969). He is a member of the Board of the
Hilo Yacht Club and an officer of the Hilo Stroke Club of the
American Heart Association. Mr. Green is presently serving on
the Hawaii County Board of Appeals and will end his tenure on
December 31, 1997. Mr. Green is a Democrat.
If approved, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2002.
