Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Gary K. Yoshimura of Hilo to the
Hawaii County Fire Board of Appeals, to replace Hajime Uyeki of
Hilo, whose term will expire on December 31, 1997.
Mr. Yoshimura is a 48-year resident of Hawaii. He is retired
from the County of Hawaii Fire Department (1968-1995) and since
1977, has been a part-owner of HITCO Moving and Storage Co.
Mr. Yoshimura is a member of the Piihonua Community Association
and reports that he has no affiliation to any political party.
If approved, he will serve a term to end December 31, 2002.
