Table 1 shows (1) a breakdown of County -owned lands by functions of government prior to obtaining the foreclosed lands in Hamakua and (2) the total County -owned lands after foreclosure. This information is being provided to you based on an inventory list from Mr. Stanley Iwamoto, Real Property Specialist of the Accounts Division. The govcmmcnt functions arc explained in detail in the appendix. You also asked that this information be shown graphically. Chart A provides the percentage of Count -owned land cxcl=dine Hamakua foreclosures by responsible divisions, October 1997. Chart B provides the percentage of County -owned land including Hamakua foreclosures by function and responsible divisions, October 1997. Location maps have also been included specifically outlining the forcclosured lands in the Hamakua district. Maps were provided by the Planning Department and Ms. Margarita Hopkins of the Department of Research & Development.
