The remaining 2400 acres have the ability for diverse disposal <br /> as the county sees fit. <br /> As you are aware, K56E already has large land holdings in Hamakua, in <br /> order to lease these lands is very expensive. The community is sensitive <br /> to the needs of our farmers and ranchers to be able to lease lands from <br /> different sources, i.e. the County. Perhaps the County could arrange for <br /> farmers to lease to own these lands it that is in keeping with the <br /> Council's decision. <br /> Please give our public an opportunity for these lands as KSBE already has <br /> so much. Can't the Council condemn park or public access land?
