RE: Resolutions relatin o the Organization of the 2006-2008 Council Term
For your review and favorable consideration, I am transmitting the attached resolutions
relating to the (1) designation of the Chair and Vice Chair of the new Council; (2) adoption
of the Council's Rules of Procedure; (3) appointment of the County Clerk; (4) appointment
of members of committee members and the respective committee chairs and vice chairs for
the Committees of Finance, Planning, Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, Public
Safety and Parks and Recreation, Human Services and Economic Development, and
Environmental Management; and (5) appointment of the Hawaii State Association of
Counties representative and alternate.
