Relating to Animate
Attached is Bill No. 258, Draft 6. During its November 29, 2006 meeting, the Council amended
Draft 4 of the Bill by replacing it with Draft 5. The changes made in Draft 5 are discussed in
detail in Communication No. 798.33. The Council subsequently amended Draft 5 by replacing
references in the bill to the "Hawai`i County Police Department" with "Hawai`i Police
Department." These references were changed in sections 4-4 (Definitions), 4-7 (Complaint
forms for private citizens), and 4-52 (Definitions).
