RESOLUTION NO. 1'9 Os
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Smart Signs alert drivers in real time of their actual speed, thereby
encouraging drivers to pay attention to the speed limit; and
WHEREAS, by encouraging drivers to reduce their driving speeds, Smart Signs can
help to protect the lives of motorists and pedestrians; and
WHEREAS, Smart Signs are needed to control speeding on Paniolo Drive in
Waikoloa Village; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 9, in combination with
matching funds donated by the Waikoloa Village Association, will be used for the purchase of
two (2) Smart Signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set
forth below:

CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works and Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
