Re: Capital Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Kamehameha Park Comfort Station for
$250,000 to the Capital Budget. Funding for this project will come from the fair share
assessment contributions from the Kohala Ranch LLC in conjunction with Condition M of
Ordinance 92-40 for the Kohala Ranch Project IV. The funds will be used to construct the
comfort station according to the design commissioned by Kohala Ranch LLC and reviewed
and approved by the Department of Parks and Recreation. The Kamehameha Park
Comfort Station provides permanent and accessible comfort station amenities to support
the multitude of outdoor recreational uses currently satisfied by Kamehameha Park.
