SUBJECT: William Charles L nalilo Playground at Pualani Estates Subdivision -Resolution 522
Acceptance of the above referenced park dedication was deferred at a previous County Council meeting.
The Department of Parks and Recreation is able to take on the park improvements at the Pualani
Estates Subdivision as soon as the County Council accepts the dedication of the park. There has been
some concern about the turf grass looking bad at times but that deficiency relates to lack of nutrients.
We are hopeful that our staff will be able to remedy that with regular fertilizing and would like to make the
field space available to the public. We would, therefore, encourage the County Council to accept the
dedication of the park to the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation.
