RE: Transfer of Discretionary Funds for F~Year 2006-2007
Discretionary funds from District 8 will be used to fund Kahua Na`au A`o's "Shiro-Taka Kenpo Karate School
of Self-Development" whose focus is to provide at-risk youths in the community with substance abuse
education and prevention through self-defense discipline training and exercise techniques integrating social,
cultural and family values.
Enclosed please find a Resolution authorizing the transfer of $10,000.00 from the Clerk-Council SVC
