My name is Diane Keller and I have been growing Kona coffee in Honaunau, South Kona since
1977. I at?t asking for your vote far Resolution # 18-06 to support and pratoct our Kona coffee
industry here on the island of Hawaii. The legislation which permits a minimum of 10% Kona
coffee in current blends Labeled Kona damages the reputation of our world class coffee.
It is dme for the Hawaii Co?u?ty Council to take tl?e lend and support our Kona coffee farmers
their efforts to raise to 73°h the minimum amount of Kona coffee in blends bearing the name
Kona. This agricultural geographic identity is pre~aious, and its value nceds to be protected and
promoted,
