Dear Ms. Bergeijk:
This is the final progress report (July 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006), for the second year of funding
being provided by the Hawaii Island Meth Initiative Grant ID #20040700, to the Hawaii Police
Department for the purpose of addressing the crystal methamphetamine problem in the County of
Hawaii. The funds provided are being utilized for salaries and wages for additional personnel to
supplement the two established "ICE Task Force" Units, and personnel assigned to the "Airport Drug
Interdiction Unit "
