Prosecuting Attorney Jay T. Kimura and Deputy Prosecuting
Attorney Sandra L. Freitas; Civil No. 06-00640DAE/KSC
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, we
request attorney-client confidential discussion in executive session to consult
with the County Council on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties,
privileges, immunities and liabilities regarding the legal representation of
Detective Reed Mahuna, Prosecuting Attorney Jay T. Kimura and Deputy
Prosecuting Attorney Sandra L. Freitas in the above-entitled matter. We ask that
this case be placed on the council's agenda at its earliest convenience.
