There is no more important work for this council than to get the County's "lack-of- planning" house in order. Already almost beyond the point of disaster, our island communities will have no chance of recovery from witty-nilty rezonings and subdivision approvals made by previous councils and supported by the current county administration without taking a long, deep breath to catch up with lagging infrastructure. I strongy support concurrency measures and awaiting the completion of regional Community Development Plans before allowing more development; but I more strongly support legislation that would stop all rezoning and subdivision until infrastructure is in place to support development which has already been approved and built. Mahalo for your attention to this matter. I am optimisitc that our newly elected council members will do what is best for the people of this island. Best regards, Janice Palma-Glennie Comm. No. Ref.
