RESOLUTION NO. 27 '
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATED AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the azea known as Honu`apo was acquired by the County of Hawaii for the
expressed purpose of protecting its resources and maintaining the azea as open space for public
use and benefit; and
WHEREAS, in the interest of protecting the fragile shoreline and grassy azeas from
human activities at Honu`apo, the Department of Pazks and Recreation will place 150 concrete
bazriers (lft. x lft. x 6ft.); and
WHEREAS, the placement of these barriers will prevent vehiculaz traffic on the grassy
azeas and the shoreline; and
WHEREAS, discretionazy funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the
Department of Pazks and Recreation for the placement of concrete barriers at Honu`apo in the
amount of $20,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth
below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Finance and the DItector of Pazks and Recreation and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
