Re: Police Grant
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget
for $20,000. The Police Department, through the Department of
Transportation Motor Vehicle Safety Office has been granted $80,000
to provide 70 DUI roadblocks, as well as establish a one-man DUI
squad. This project will enhance the current DUI enforcement
program for the County of Hawaii. The original appropriation was
for $60,000.
