Please approve of this amendment to Bill ] rezoning TMK 7-3-51:96. Please insert new section 1~', i'W ,
renumber the current paragaph 10 as 11 and renumber all following sections to reflect this addition. ;N
10. D_eveloner shall be required to construct curbs Qutters and sidewalks frontine Maiau Street and Kamanu

I believe that this pazcel should not be exempted from this important safety consideration. One can reasonably
expect that other such rezonings shall occur in this azea if this is approved. We should ensure that sidewalks
will be part of this rezoning and any other future rezonings in this azea. As density increases and uses generate
more traffic to this already busy azea, we owe it to current and future residents to protect safety and health by
requiring this basic protection for pedestrian traffic. Thank you for your consideration of this amendment.
