Hello, my name is Roberta and I will be residing in the Keaau Ag. Lots in a few
months.
On behalf on myself, my husband, and my daughter, I strongly oppose the
passing of this bill.
While I admire and appreciate the DOH's efforts to rehabilitate, I believe that
permitting this type of situation to exisl in a residential neighborhood is risky,
irresponsible, and just plain foolish. Odds are that at some point is time, the
' ~ ` hence their current
"residents" of this facility have ,
living situation. In the "real" ADULT world, such actions would have resulted in
their incarceration for the sole reason of them being a threat and or danger to
living within the community. And yet you are proposing a measure that would
allow up to 16 potentially, if not already violent, dangerous, and volatile people, to
live within homes, together, in a neighborhood where children ride their bikes
next door? I beg of you to reconsider the passing of this bill.
