Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members
It is my pleasure to nominate Ross Wilson, Jr., of Council District 8 to the County
of Hawaii Water Board. Mr. Wilson is a 48-year resident of Hawaii. His
occupation is in public relations, and since 1990 he has been the President of
Current Events.
Mr. Wilson is on the Board of Directors for both the Hawaii Community Federal
Credit Union and the West Hawaii Fund. He is a member of the Kona Hawaiian
Civic Club and president of the Halewili Homeowners Association. Mr. Wilson
states that he is Democrat. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2011, replacing Mr. George A. Wilkens, whose term expired on
December 31, 2006.
