Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. John E. Dill of Council District 1 to the County
of Hawaii Board of Ethics. Mr. Dill is a 22-year resident of Hawaii who is a
project manager for Willocks Construction Corporation. He is also a HMRFS
Surveyor for the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
Mr. Dill is a member of the Waiakea Pirates Youth Athletic Club, the Hawaii
Island Contractors Association, the Pepeekeo Community Association and Na
Pua Ke Ali'i O' Pauahi. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
If confirmed, Mr. Dill will serve a term to end on December 31, 2011, replacing
Mr. Reeve "Bob" Williams, whose term expired on December 31, 2006.
