Re: Operating Budget
On November 15, 2006, the County Council adopted Resolution No. 515-06 which
transferred $2,000 from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account to the
Highway Fund for the installation of a streetlight on Pearl Street, in the Mauna Loa Estates
Subdivision (within Council District 6) to improve public safety.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
$2,000 to the Streetlights OCE account within the Highway Fund.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works.

020.281.5281.32.115 Streetlights OCE $ 2,000.00
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Resolution 515-06 authorizes appropriations from Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief to transfer to
Highway funds, $2,000.00 for the installation of a streetlight on Pearl Street, Mauna Loa Estates S/D,
District 6.
We are requesting these funds be appropriated in the Highway Fund.
