SUBJECT: PROPOSED CHANGES TO COUNTY CODE
DEALING WITH SOLID WASTE TIPPING FEES
Transmitted for your consideration and approval is an ordinance proposing
an amendment to Section 20-47 (a) of the Hawaii County Code dealing with
collection of solid waste tipping fees.
We feel that the proposed changes will make the late charge fees more
reasonable and will also be a benefit to the County in terms of being able
to program the charges automatically into the billing system.
