As shown below, we are proposing the appropriation of <br /> $3,016,506 of the fund balance to supplement the Traffic Division - OCE, Traffic Street Lights, <br /> Highway Maintenance Admin -Equipment, Roadside Maintenance Service, Highway Mass <br /> Transit - OCE, and Transfer to Capital Project Fund. <br /> Available Highway Fund fund balance at FY end 06/30/06: $ 3,019,667.86 <br /> Less: Appropriations: 3,016,506.00 <br /> Remaining Fund Balance: $ 3,161.86 <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by increasing the Highway <br /> Fund's Fund Balance of the Previous Year account by $3,016,506 and then appropriating it to the <br /> aforementioned accounts. The written explanation of these appropriations is attached to this <br /> transmittal letter. <br /> Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance that amends the Capital Budget by appropriating <br /> $350,000 of the Highway Fund fund balance that we propose to appropriate to the Transfer to <br /> Capital Project Fund account.
