CIV. NO. 98-244
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended,
the Office of the Corporation Counsel respectfully requests a closed meeting in
the above case to discuss with the Hawaii County Council questions and issues
pertaining to the Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities and liabilities.
Specifically, the office wishes to discuss the possibility of alternative
dispute resolution proposed by the UPW in lieu of immediately pursuing their
appeal filed in the above case.
