Subject: 2% land -Jan 18th Finance Committee meeting
Aloha County Council,
Thank you all for your hard work.
I am writing to support the bill being brought up at the January 18th Finance Committee Meeting in Hilo.
I support the proposal to pro-rate the taxes going to the land fund beginning the day after the election, from Nov 8
to Dec 31, 2006. The first deposit would be made around the middle of March, with the funds placed in an
interest-bearing account.
