Comm. 97: NOMINATION OF ROSS WILSON, JR. TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII WATER
BOARD
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 11, 2007, requesting the confirmation of the above
appointment. Mr. Wilson, of Council District 8, is a 48-year resident of Hawaii. Currently
employed in public relations, he serves as the President of Current Events. Mr. Wilson
states he is a Democrat, and, if confirmed, his term will expire on December 31, 2011. He
replaces Mr. George A. Wilkins, whose term expired on December 31, 2006.
Comm. 107: NOMINATION OF TAKASHI DOMINGO AND RELL M. WOODWARD TO THE
COUNTY OF HAWAl`I PLANNING COMMISSION
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 17, 2007, requesting the Council's approval of the
above appointments. Mr. Domingo, of Council District 1, is a 67-year resident of Hawaii.
Currently retired, he previously was employed as a Special Assistant for Hawaii County
from 1997 to 2002 and prior to that, served as a Hawaii County Councilmember for
20 years. Mr. Domingo states he is a Democrat, and if confirmed, his term will expire on
December 31, 2011. He replaces Mr. Fred Galdones, whose term expired on December 31,
2006. Mr. Rell Woodward, of Council District 6, is a one and half year resident of Hawaii.
He was previously employed as a physician at OB-GYN Association in Houston, Texas
from 1980 to 2002. Mr. Woodward states he is not affiliated with any political party, and if
confirmed, his term will expire on December 31, 2011. He replaces Mr. Jeffrey W. McCall,
whose term expired on December 31, 2006.
