Comm. 108: APPOINTMENT OF JEAN B. NAVARRO TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`1
MAYOR'S COMMITTEE ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 17, 2007, informing the Council he has
appointed Ms. Jean B. Navano of Council District 1 to the County of Hawaii
Mayor's Committee on People With Disabilities. Ms. Navarro is a 6-year resident of
Hawaii and is currently employed by the Arc of Kona (dba Kona Krafts) as the
Director of Support Services. Ms. Navarro is also president of Kalopa Enterprises,
Inc.; the director of the Girls Academy of Honoka`a; a board member of the Hamakua
Health Center, Project STRIDE (Sports and Therapeutic Recreation Instruction/
Developmental Education); and the Power of Choice, Hamakua. Ms. Navarro states
that she is affiliated with the Democratic party. She will serve a term to expire on
December 31, 2008.

Comm. 133: APPOINTMENT OF RONALD WAGNER-WRIGHT, PH.D. TO THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII MAYOR'S COMMITTEE ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
From Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 22, 2007, informing the Council he has
appointed Dr. Ronald Wagner-Wright of Council District 3 to the County of Hawaii
Mayor's Committee on People With Disabilities. Dr. Wagner-Wright is a 22-year
resident of Hawaii and discloses that in 2002 he became totally blind caused by
Lebers Optic Hereditazy Neuropathy; prior to that he was a professor at Chaminade
University. Dr. Wagner-Wright is a boazd member of the State of Hawaii Guide Dog
Foundation and a board member of SOJCF (Servants of Jesus Community
Foundation, Inc.) Homeless Children's Education Program, Muntinlupa City,
Philippines. Dr. Wagner-Wright states that he is not affiliated with any political party.
He will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2008.

a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means "any individual
engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any
six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by
communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section
