RESOLUTION NO. 63 ~
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Hilo Municipal Golf Course was established in 1950 as a public
18-hole golf course and is Hawaii Island's only County operated golf course; and
WHEREAS, the Hilo Municipal Golf Course requires new maintenance equipment
and has requested funds to purchase two (2) Tru Turf Roll & Slice ("Rollers"); and
WHEREAS, the Rollers will be used on a regular basis to enhance the playability of
the greens at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation -Hilo Municipal Golf Course to be used towards
purchasing two (2) Tru Turf Roll & Slice; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $25,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $25,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.36 Department of Parks and Recreation $25,000
Transfer to Golf Course Fund
(Golf Course Equipment - 090-561.5561.06
-Two (2) Tru Turf Roll & Slice)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of
Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers
in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
