RESOLUTION NO. 71 ~
RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Ho`okena Beach Pazk is a geographically isolated location in Council
District 6; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation maintains the campgrounds and a
public pazk at Ho`okena; and
WHEREAS, the number of park visitors and campers have been steadily increasing and
with recent pazk improvements and more planned for the future, this trend will continue; and
WHEREAS, to ensure the safety of pazk visitors and over night campers, the Department
of Parks and Recreation has requested the installation of a pay phone at Ho`okena Beach Pazk;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated asset forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $11,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department ofPazks and Recreation $11,000
Transfer to Capitol Project Fund G
(Park Improvements in District 6 110.599.5599.75)
To be allotted to Ho`okena Pay Phone
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy ofthis
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Dtrector of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms ofthis resolution.
