residential dcwelopxuent with a golf course acid clubhouse to a FiiLLSERVTGE
RESORT, starturg with 80 golf course uiuis avaIlable for rental. While Ilse Laois are
said to be for
n>embers only, once built, Oceanside Management may choose to ope~i

'fhe m-guments lit favor of a FULI, SER~~I(''E RESORT were presented to the Pla~ntiug
Commission last Oetoher at this liotcl. The tln~ee mair> arguments were:
1) Oceanside 1250 has been tlunlang about this for a long tune, showing the nails ou
preliminary drawings.
- Tlvs is irrelevai~l.
2) Jobs mid tax revenue will be created in the construction and operation of the new
rental iu~its.
- One need not create a I' IILI, SERVICE RESORT at Oceanside I Z~i01o get these
jobs and tam revenue. The coast of North Dona is a resort node on the island where
additional golf course bungalows will, uo doubt, be bui11 if we avoid tlu~ spot zoiwig
that Oceanside requests. Jobs would properly 6e created iu 1he proper loi~atiou.

I respectfully request rletiial of Oceanside 1250's request to become a Fl7LI, SI?R«CE
RESORT.
- It sets a veI}~ bad precedent, allowing Oceanside to expand into ICI "LL
SERA-'ICE RESORT.
-It starly an avalaiiclie by turt~~g neighboring larm property into I'i'LL Sb:R\ICE
RESORT proprrly. that is attractive 1o resort developers.
South Koua should remain "primarily rural and agricultural" (per the Sale Boundary
