Thank you for your attention to the desires and needs of the citizens of this island. Although unable to attend your meeting today, I want you to know my concerns about the future use of county land on the Hamakua coast. The use should be to the benefit of the neighbors who live in the azea. The final decision should be given to those who live here, not by the mayor or anyone else. We have ideas, but need the opportunity to voice them. It is difficult, if not impossible for many of us to run to Hilo and back to our homes again. There needs to be a better system for notification of public meetings besides an inconspicuous ad in the newspaper. Perhaps regular monthly meetings with our representative in each district would be a way for the leaders and their constituents to have dialogue. Thank you so much for your attention. Sincerely, / ~ Pauline Caccia N a ,r c ; C, : .-o C~? ~ w ~ ~ ~~m. >vo. l o . o l FYIe No. F g,~, Presented F lbf. D~Yn FFR R 100'f
