Dear Council Members,
I am a resident: of North Kohala, (hialaula), and am wd6ng to ask you to please, Please, please:
(1) Vole 'YES" to deposit 2°f° of t:he Property taxes (including penalties and interest) to the fund Cwice a year on
December 31 and Lune 30.
(2) Place the funds in an interest bearing account.
(3) 2°0 of property taxes should be prorated from November 8th (when the bill k?ecame law) Co December 37., which is
aopro x. $7..6 million, and placed in the fund Immediately.
AlmosT 10,000 Hawaii Island voters can't be wrong. Our open spaces are important to all of us, and to the future of the
land and people of Hawaii. And indeed, even to those who have yet to see Hawaii!
This is so important. PLEASE VOTE "YES" for the 2% for the LAND.
