Subject: 2% Land Fund
Dear Council,
I am in favor of the 2~ Land Fund on the Big Island. We are different from other islands
in that we have very few beaches and public places for our people to recreate. Our best
beaches are shared with large hotels, most of whom limit public access. Spending time in
nature is of utmost importance for clearing the clutter in our minds and creating calm and
happy people.
Our future generations deserve open land and thoughtful planning for their happiness and
health. I urge you to vote for the 2~ Land Fund.
