Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 22, reports as follows:
Bill No. 22, transmitted by Duector of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 74, dated
January 3, 2007, amends Ordinance No. 06-80, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2007. The amendment is as follows:

110-699-5691.63 Environmental Management: General $2,000,000.00
East Hawaii Reload Facility
From:
General Obligation Bonds, General $2,000,000.00
Capital Projects Fund -
Fund Balance and/or other Sources
Pursuant to Section 46-7, of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County
Charter, the Mayor is already authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the project
identified in the Operating Budget.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 22, and recommends it
pass fast reading.
