Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 109, reports as follows:
Communication No. 109, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated January 17, 2007, nominates
Mr. John E. Dill of Council District 1 to serve on the Hawaii County Boazd of Ethics
Commission.
Mr. Dill is a 22-year resident of Hawaii who is a project manager for Willocks Construction
Corporation. He is also a HMRFS Surveyor for the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
Mr. Dill is a member of the Waiakea Pirates Youth Athletic Club, the Hawaii Island Contractors
Association, the Pepe`ekeo Community Association and Na Pua Ke Ali`i O` Pauahi. He states
that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, Mr. Dill will serve a term to end
on December 31, 2011, replacing Mr. Reeve "Bob" Williams, whose term expired on
December 31, 2006.
Your Committee on Finance recommends the confirmation of Mr. John E. Dill to the Hawaii
County Boazd of Ethics Commission.
