RE: Bi1152, Draft 2 (A Bill for an Ordinance Amending Chapters 23 (Subdivision
Control Code) and 25 (Zoning Code), Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition,
as amended), Relating to Stormwater Management
Attached for your consideration is Bi1152, Draft 2 that reflects amendments approved at the
February 21, 2007 Committee on Planning meeting in Kona, as follows:
1) Deleting reference to Chapter 27 (Flood Control Code) in the title of the proposed
Bill for an Ordinance, as follows:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 23 (SUBDIVISION CONTROL
CODE)[,] AND 25 (ZONING CODE), [

2) A friendly amendment to "SECTION 3. Section 25-2-72(3)" to replace an erroneous
reference to "sec. 27-26A", with the correct reference to "sec. 27-20" as follows:
A site drainag~lan under sec. (~7-2HA1 27-20 approved by the director of
public works where elan auproval is required under sec 25-2-71(al (c)(2) and
(c)(51. (d), (e), or (f)."
