This draft amends the bill by <br /> incorporating the changes made to section 15-62(b), Hawaii County Code, by ordinance 06-159, <br /> effective December 7, 2006. (Ordinance 06-159 added the Korean War Veterans Organization <br /> and three at-large members to the veterans advisory committee.) <br /> As amended, subsection (b) would now read: <br /> "(b) The membership of the committee shall include one representative each from the <br /> American Legion, Big Island National Guard Retirees Association, Big Island <br /> Retired Military Association, Club 100, Disabled American Veterans, Hawaii <br /> Island Veterans Memorial, Inc., 442nd Veterans Association, Hilo Interpreters <br /> Club, Hawaii Island Women Veterans Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the <br /> Veterans of the Vietnam War, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, [axd] the <br /> Korean War Veterans Organization and the Camp Tarawa Detachment #1255 of the <br /> Marine Corps LeaQUe.
