Re: Support of Resolution #4107
I strongly support public funding for County Council elections because it might be easier
for councilors to remember their constituents if candidates didn't feel so obliged to
lobbyists and special interest groups or individuals. It's a resolution that builds better
relationships between us voters and our representatives.
In addition this resolution sends young and old, rich and poor, a strong message in support
of democratic principles.
Thanks to the Council for all their hard work!
