Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Resolution No. 70-07, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 70-07, transmitted via Communication No. 164, from County Clerk Casey
Jarman, dated February 6, 2007, appoints Ms. Colleen Schrandt to the position of Legislative
Auditor. Ms. Jarman mentioned Ms. Schrandt's glowing references. She pointed out to
members how clearly Ms. Schrandt gave explanations of the duties of a County Legislative
Auditor. Ms. Schrandt stated that her philosophy was not to find fault but to support departments
to better improve their services.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the
purpose and intent of Resolution 70-07, and recommends its adoption.
