A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club has been established in 1953, which goal is to provide
activities to inspire and enable the Big Island youth from all backgrounds of life; and
WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club provide programs in the azeas of Health and Life Skills,
Chazacter and Leadership Development, the Arts, Education (homework assistance and computer
skills), as well as Sports, Recreation and Fitness; and
WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club have been serving the Hamakua Coast and recently
signed an agreement with the Department of Pazks and Recreation to have their mobile van stationed at
the Pa`auilo Pazk; and
WHEREAS, a $10,000 appropriation from Council District 1 Contingency Relief account will
be administered by the Depaztment of Liquor Control; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred appropriated asset forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Depaztment of Liquor Control $10,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Liquor Control and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
