RESOLUTION NO. ilx U7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island provide much needed services
to youths and families; and
WHEREAS, in 2007, the Boys and Girls Club will be expanding services to
Hawaiian Ocean View Estates in Ka`u; and
WHEREAS, Ka`u has been underserved in many areas and this will address some of
their needs; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the
Liquor Control to be used as a grant towards the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Island to
enhance their youth programs; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

AMOUNT OF
APPROPRIATION: $18,500
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $18,500
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $18,500

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forwazd a copy of this resolution to the Director of Liquor Control and the Director of Finance
and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in
accordance with the terms of this resolution.
