regazding Bi1151 (Draft 2), an Ordinance Amending Chapter 27, Flood Control, Hawaii
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition) as amended relating to Stormwater Management
I am requesting that Council Members be further informed regazding Floodplain Issues. This session
will include information on:
• The FEMA Community Rating System
• An explanation from Public Works Director Bruce McClure regazding Bill 51
• Adapting the proposed Bill 51 to Hawaii County's unique environment
Please place this informational session on the Apri13, 2007 agenda before Bill 51, so that Council
members will be able to have an informed discussion prior to voting.
