I am writing to inquire about the "Consdidation of 4 bta re subdividing into 101 kits".lax
Key ~i: T9-001. 002 .003 and 8-1 002:040, totaling apx. 2,895 acres.
I saw the rx4icx posted at one of the eritrarices of Hoktikara Ranch Inc.
The reason for this fetter is to ask if there w~l be more than adequate ways th pr~everrt ~
water run off flowing makai to the tlAamalahoa Hwy.
We are concerned as we have the so called Kingsley Ditdi which flows through our property
and there is an old County aihrcrt which rune under the Mamalahoa ttrvy. VVe feel lhet the
culvert is an akl one and may not handle the flow of water Doming from mauka and n is the
main hghway whieh the people use. ff it cotiapses there will be no hlphway for transportation
for the peoples safety.
Some portions of the ditch waU have been shaken by the earthquake of OcEOber, 2006.
Cur bridge over the d'dch needed repairs as the ~'ttbars were exposed and thanks to

We already went to see the Ptarming f]ept. on the bleat skis, and spoke to Kai F_kner but we
thought it best tied we had in writing asking for your kolas so you wfll consider to check to aee
if them are proper
