RESOLUTION NO. 124 U'7
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, since 1910, Pahoa High and Intermediate School, its students and graduates
have been an integral part of the Puna community; and
WHEREAS, teachers, pazents and students nationally celebrate Grad Night as an alcohol
free and drug-free event that ensures a safe environment which benefits the community; and
WHEREAS, Grad Night participants aze offered a healthy alternative from the
traditional graduation parties that often include underage drinking and drug abuse; and
WHEREAS, the discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Liquor Control to be used as a grant towazds the Pahoa High School Grad Night;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDTIED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $2,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Liquor Control and the Director of
Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in
accordance with the terms of this resolution.
