RESOLUTION NO. 125 U~~
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRINF/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, Na Ma Kaholo is a program that provide the coummnity with helping hands to
caze for indigenous plants and herbs from being extinct; and
WHEREAS, Na Ma Kaholo has a program called Kulu Kumu Hana, which strives to maintian
the agricultural lands and streams that grow native Hawaiian plants and herbs; and
WHEREAS, Na Ma Kaholo teaches their students to take care of each other, respect the elders,
good manners, traditional Hawaiian language and culture, the history of the district, the need to
continue to cultivate native plants and take caze of the land; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Liquor Control to be used as a grant towards the Na Ma Kaholo for the program called
Kulu Kumu Hana; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred /appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC-Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $5,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Liquor Control and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfer in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
