ARESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the mission of Kokua Counseling Services is to provide professional
counseling services that are respectful to client's spiritual and cultural values; and
WHEREAS, the educational programs are designed to build the capacity of individuals,
couples, and families to function well as members of our community; and
WHEREAS, the Kokua Counseling Services help identify solutions to difficulties such
as marital or family problems, job related issues, and financial hardship; and
WHEREAS, the discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Liquor Control to be used as a grant towards Kokua Counseling Services for
educational presentations and therapeutical and counseling services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $10,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $10,000

(Kokua Counseling Services, Inc.)
BE IT FINALLY RRESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Liquor Control and Director of Finance
and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in
accordance with the terms of this resolution.
