A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Pahoa Family Health Center is situated in the heart of Pahoa Town and
provides primary caze for children and adults, including low income families; and
WHEREAS, the Pahoa Family Health Center provide cervical cancer screening services,
health examination services, supplemental food services and nutritional education services to
eligible woman, infants and children (WIC) for free or a sliding fee for service; and
WHEREAS, the community has grown to depend on the health center and is the main
component to health care especially to low income families; and
WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Liquor Control to be used as a grant towards the Pahoa Family Health Center;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OFHAWAI`I that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Liquor Control and the Director of
Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in
accordance with the terms of this resolution.
