Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Margarita Ignacio of Council District 5 to the County of
Hawaii Salary Commission. Ms. Ignacio is a 36-year resident of Hawaii. Since 1987,
she has been employed by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations as a
Workforce Development Specialist,
Ms. Ignacio is a member of the HGEA Education and Training Committee, and
Waiakeawaena Elementary Schoo's PTA. She states that she is not affiliated with any
political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to end on December 31, 2008. This
was a vacant position. '
