RESOLUTION NO. 148 U']
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources -Personnel & Organization Development
Division provides training, facilitation and consulting support to all departments of the county in
order to continually improve both personnel and organizational effectiveness and maximize the
potential of the County's human capital; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel & Organization Development Division will be holding the
2007 Clerical Conference entitled "2007 County Office Support Staff Conference "How To
...and Stay Positive", which will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the purpose is to recognize support staff for all their hazd work and dedication
by giving them their "special" day to get together and shaze ideas, and network while attending
training sessions that would enhance their work performance; and
WHEREAS, funds has already been appropriated to the 2007 Clerical Conference, and
additional funds is being requested to help pay for cost incurred by the "2007 County Office Support
Staff Conference "How To ...and Stay Positive"; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,000
CREDITED TO:
010.151.5151.11 Department of Human Resources $1,000

(2007 Annual Clerical Conference)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forwazd a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Human Resources and the Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessazy transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
